Beauty Shop Dolls are a retro girl group that have been providing live party and festival entertainment in the Vancouver area since 2014. Performing classic music from the roaring 1920s, the swinging 1940s dance halls, and boppin’ 1950s and 60s radio hits, these dolls know how to woo any crowd into an old fashioned love affair, sometimes putting their own vintage twist on Modern Top 40 Pop. Beauty Shop Dolls are the perfect match for retro inspired Wedding Entertainment, Corporate Events, Music Festivals, 1920s/1940s/1950s Themed Parties, Christmas Party Entertainment and more.

Nadia von Hahn
 

Nadia von Hahn is a lifelong creator and performer who founded Beauty Shop Dolls live retro girl group in 2014.  Although she first had the idea while a student at The Canadian College of Performing Arts, she took a detour through the music industry, independently releasing a solo album, touring across Canada, and being featured at Canadian Music Week. The last 9 years of Beauty Shop Dolls have been filled with many wonderful live performance experiences, and much hard work behind the scenes. When she is not performing or behind the computer, she prefers to be working out in nature, or spending time with her parrotlet "Frisbee".

Erica is the founder of Dimes Entertainment, a specialty booking agency in Vancouver. She joined Beauty Shop Dolls in 2017 and has been an integral member onstage and off ever since. She completed the Theatre Arts program at Grant MacEwan University and went on to perform in various musicals throughout Alberta and across Canada. Theatre credits include the musical Aladdin with Alberta Opera, and the rock and roll review Jailhouse Rock.  Her heart belongs to all things live performance, acting, singing and dancing. She is also an avid reader, fitness buff and lover of the outdoors.

Tiana Swan is an interdisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, BC. She has performed with many companies throughout the Lower Mainland in productions such as The Rocky Horror Show, Rent, Legally Blonde The Musical and Little Shop of Horrors. Tiana loves sharing her passion for the live arts, and frequently returns to her Vancouver high school to provide choreography and directing for musicals and show choir. Tiana additionally performs as "Genesis", an award winning drag and burlesque artist. Tiana also runs her own freelance makeup and Christmas card businesses.

Leanne Taylor

Leanne has been a sweetheart of the performing arts since she first discovered ballet at age 3. She graduated from the Canadian College of Performing Arts, and began her adventure as a self-employed artist in Vancouver. Her stage experience includes authentic Go-Go Dance and Vegas-style Showgirl appearances in corporate entertainment, and she has been a featured dancer for major live show bands such as Moon Coin Productions and Famous Players Band. Today she continues to explore a variety of dance styles and live music because of the joy they bring. Leanne is thrilled to be one of the Beauty Shop Dolls and is looking forward to entertaining you at your next sparkling event!

Amy is a multi-disciplinary performance artist based on Coast Salish territory, otherwise known as Vancouver, BC. A proud descendent of a family of artists and creators, Amy had a musical upbringing and from a young age toured across Canada with a family band performing in front of young audiences. She studied at the Canadian College of Performing Arts, and has since made Vancouver her home. She loves bringing joy to people’s lives through live music and putting contemporary twists on classics. When not singing, she can be found acting in theatre and film, moving and grooving through dance and stage combat, and creating through photography, poetry, and textile art.
