What kind of music do they perform?
Jazz, swing, and popular music from the 1920s, 30s, 40s, 50s & 60s. For their band show they sometimes include popular music from today with a retro twist!

What types of shows do they offer?

  • Sentimental Journey - All your favourite hits from each decade! (our most popular show!)
  • Great Gatsby - Jazz and big band swing music from 1920s-1940s , as well as some modern day songs performed in 1920s-1940s sound.
  • Jukebox Journey - The boppin' music of the 1950s & 60s!
  • Holiday Classics - Holiday music, Christmas carols & Jazz standards

How many people are on stage?
We have several different booking options below! All shows include 3 dazzling dolls singing in tight, sunny harmonies and moving in elegant synchronicity in beautiful vintage costumes!

Do you charge for a sound system?
If the show is in a large space with more than 30 guests, yes, there will be a charge to cover the cost of the additional monitor/speaker.

For large scale events, can you provide a sound system?
We prefer if you do, but yes we can. We will hire our own sound person/company, rent out the other necessary equipment and charge you accordingly. 

What are your space requirements?
We prefer to have 9’ by 11’ feet but we are adaptable and can perform in smaller spaces as well!

Do the Dolls do Singing Telegrams?

A sample song list is available upon request.

Do the Dolls travel?
Yes, but travel fees may apply after 10 km.

Do the Dolls offer any discounts?
Yes! The Dolls offer discounted performance rates to Veteran organizations, Non-profits, Organizations for People with Disabilities, Retirement Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and more. Let us know your date! We also offer a discounted rate if you book us the same day as another client.
When are the Dolls available for bookings?
The Dolls are available for bookings every day of the year except from December 23rd-December 28th. Premium rates apply on New Year's Eve.

May I record them?
Sure, if the intent is solely for social media, personal memories, enjoyment.

Only a written contract permits use of photos, video or audio recordings of our singers for outside or commercial use.

Do the dolls sing a capella?
No. However, if it is a singing gram or a show within an intimate setting, we may make an exception!

How far in advance can I book?
Our maximum is six months.

How late is too late to book?
In the case our singers still have availability, we must have a contract and 50% deposit in place no later than one week before an event and no later than 48 hours before a holiday event (November and December only.) In some rare cases, you may be able to book us a couple days before your event.

What is the minimum amount of time I can book the Dolls?
One hour is the minimum rate for booking. Yes, even if you "just want one song."

How do I know the Dolls are confirmed for my event?
We receive dozens of inquiries each week. We will send a confirmation via email. However, if we do not receive your 50% deposit by the date required, the booking is void.

Do I tip?
Gratuity is much appreciated but in no way required.

What do the Dolls wear?
We have many different wardrobe options.

Will the Dolls wear something specific for my event?
Absolutely! The Beauty Shop Dolls have done many promotions where they wear a company's scarf, outfit accent or customized look. Just let us know what you have in mind!
